At 2:00 AM Today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 730 km East of Visayas (12.0°N, 133.0°E). Monsoon trough across Central and Southern Luzon.


Forecast:
Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming widespreads rains over the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon. The rest of Luzon will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest prevail over Southern Luzon and Visayas with moderate to rough seas. Light to moderate winds coming from the southwest to south will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the southwest over Mindanao with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
