Well, then it is really matter to most of you guys installing an alarm system on ur bike.

Me for now, all I did just cut the coil power cord and connect it thru a switch and put it somewhere under the handle bar. Been safing my ride till now...

Putting a switch to isolate the power supply to coil or cdi would be good too, but alarm will much better.
The alarm wiring is a easy job, but installing the receiver takes more time and patience, to get it on right place.
Prefer not to give the shops if i can do it my self.
Even with alarm i still have those pad locks, but if is quick drop off to a shop, just activate the alarm instead of putting those pad locks

Nothing much is available on the photo, it is just 1 black box which is reciever with wires to be connected at bike wiring. If some disconnect the bike battery there is a back up battery 9VDC inside the black box. I would not say it is loud, but defently would alert the surroundings

By then the theive open the faring the alarm will trigger and would alert the surronding. This alarms works on sensor.Any slight movements would start to scream.
Even with pad locks there are able to steal. Just pour some acid chemical and pad locks are gone in few minutes, unless use those expensive type.I would not say installing a alarm or pad lock would guarantee 100% stealing but will reduce the risk.
Lets say example
1)When you park your bike and hop in to nearest shop - the alarm is easiest way to protect. Don't tell you going to put in 4 padlocks.
2)If your going to park a long time then 4padlocks and alarm would be worth while

the only way to 100% portect your bike is to keep in inside your house on the mantel over the fireplace. don't take the damn bike out if your afraid it's going to get stollen. daa! an alarm is just a deturant to try to scar away the theif. or a warning if someone touch it and your close enough to hear it then you can check it. but guys come on, if a theif really wants your bike he's going to take it and he's not going to care what mods you have or how many locks you've got. Just be real. huh, and stop this non sence talk about protecting your bike.

If its a hot itum and they want it, then there going to get it! OK?

Even if you have 6 pad locks and a chain with an alarm, all they need to do is back a flat bed truck or even a cargo truck and pick the bike up and put it inside the truck. Bye Bye bike!!!! Thats just the way life is!

ha ha
that was what just similarly happened to my place. We noticed yesterday that the ATM machine nearby which was topped up was stolen by 8 guys using truck.
Well, dividing the money among 8 still quite much money.

Those damn thieves, they will always be able to get whatever they want.
So, we just try to keep them away from us by any mean including the use of alarm and padlocks.

Yeah. just try to put the bike within your sight whenever possible.
I only feel secured when home and in the office bcoz we have a parking insurance cover the bike.

2: CEnsor can control very sensitive to none. 12level
3:After people manage just to open the seat alarm will be trigered
4: enjine will never start if alarm has been trigered or on.

any1 tried installing a power on/off switch on ur spark? where is the safer cut off to install? the positive or negative of the battery to the ignition?

What do you mean by spark?
The coil output cable or input one?
Coz you dont put switch to da output as the voltage is extremely high and any cut will affect the direction, especially when get wet.
What I did is cutting da input and hide a quality switch under the handle bar in a way that no one will notice when I switch it on or off with left thumb.
That's it pall... :)
