think first before you post or say something...
coz some people just wanna do it to make their bike look good :D
even if that means they gonna sacrifice a little bit of comfort..

hey everyone, i got a problem.
i got a brambo large front rotor. i've had it amost 1 month. before i got it, i had a kid on a bicycle hit me in the front right side of the wheel, i didn't think anything of it so i continued on my way. later after a day or so. i notices that the rotor was bent slightly. and i noticed a small chunck of metal missing out of the fork leg. then i remember the kid on the bike... hummm dumb ass he was, anyway, knowing that my rotor was slightly bent i go and buy a new brambo for 2,600Php after riding it for two days i noticed a strange sound, a tapping on the front wheel. as i'm roling i look at the front wheel, i see the new rotor is not rotating strait, it has a whabble, i go to the bike dealer, he looks and see's that the caliper is hitting the rotor and that is a bad thing, it's weaking the post that holds the pasd on the caliper. then i go to the dealer that i baught the rotor from. he just happens to have another on hand. we check it out before changing it, it's perfect. flat as can be. install it on the rim, and then spin the wheel. now it's worped. questing that is bothering me, could the hit from the kid on the bicycle damage the cast alloy rim that much to push in where a bolt is located for the rotor?? because the rim isn't worped????
this is bothering me so much, i just don't know what to do. any hints??

it was in traffic, i was making a left turn onto my street, there was a jeep that stoped to let me go and the kid just came right from the side if the jeep. so he wasn't paying attenting to traffic. he had no brakes on his bike eather. thats a filippino thing. to ride a bike with no brakes. daaaa, anyway, it was his front wheel and i think fork that hit my front fork and rotor. could this cause the mont on the forged rim where the rotor bolts on to deform??

you mean the four holes for the brake rotor bolts is deformed or out of shape??..so instead of going straight the bolt is slightly tilt??..
because of the impact??..i think it's posibble dude..after all its not made from steel..its alloy right??...
it did bent you stainless stell rotor right?..
and do you still think that the impact its not enough to deformed your rotor bolt's holes which is made out of alloy??..
just an opinion dude..

i'm just not sure, i took off the rotor yesterday and checked everything. it all looks good.when you spin the wheel and look where the bolts are on the rotor, it dosn't look like it has a wabble. idon't know, maybe it's just me. but other peaple have seel it and i can feel it when i brake.

Question re big rotor disk:

1. Y do we change from factory rotor to aftermarket one?
2. do they differ in performance?
3. rapid braking as to compare to factory brake?
4. who needs a strong brakes in a long drive?
5. pls shed some light on this.

Thanks!
