Cheapest way to do Trial and Error on Sprockets

The fibercraft fender allows too much dirt to get kick back into the radiator. It is a racing fender not a street fender. The larger front tire will also slow you down and tax your stock front brake. Also, 110/70 tire are recommended with 3.0x17 rim by most tire manufacturers for proper handling. But, if all you want is look then it looks fine. With 120/70 in the rear you're going to need a 45T rear sprocket to get back the acceleration compare to a stock bike.

here's a tip you might consider:

15 x 42 sprocket combi
90/80F & 100/80R tires
Rextor CDI
Iridium Power IU24 Sparkplug
Protec racing coil
yy pang exhaust (shorty of longy it's up to you) both pipe are ok, right carb tunning is the key.

:wink:

@john

after u test tell me and what ur top speed.
42 rear will only make his bike accelerate more. but the speed is not much change, his top speed might be decreased pa nga now that he has 42 on his rear.your top speed will increase unless you will modify your engine, dont relay to much on the sprockets combi. :wink:

sprocket combi will only helps your mc perform well, based on your mc load and mods..that's why there are right combination for each mc mods and mc purposes. circuit race,drag race,trailing,off road race etc etc...
but not add more hp to your bike.

@elyouch
thanks for info. dont really plan to max the speed, im more of a tourer than a racer. just want to get a good combi to compensate 90/80 rear tire and a 220lbs rider hehehe on a stock engine. Have plans to go to baguio before the year end :)

i think 15x42 is a good sprocket combi for you..
you know what, i am much heavier than you but still using stock sprocket combi with 90/90 rear tire & stock engine. i have a top speed of 115kph and im fine with that..for now
hahaha :lol:

@romkazoo- traxxas have a post about the right sprocket combi with gear ratio result for bigger and thinner tires, for accelerate and top speed purposes..
search for it.

For me is the best is 14f and 41r. I tried all the ff:
15x39
15x40
15x42
15x41
15x44
14x39
14x42
13x26
14x40,
but the for me is 14x41 the best! Mga paps try nyo dkau madidisappoint. 4th gear is like a 3rd gear per4mance. Fast pick up...

But traxxas said that, never use small front sprocket like 14t and 13t. Bec0z the rubber at the swing arm will eat the sprocket and can cause accident,my friend died due to that. Thats why i change my sprocket now to 15F & 45R.
