Good day to all. I just want to ask your opinion about the ideal engine oil to use. My choices are Motul 5w40 or 10W40 and Repsol Mineral-based. I have an all-stock engine. 70% usage here in Bacolod (everyday use) and 30% usage for out of town (1-2hours trip). What do you guys suggest for best use? TIA!

hey! till now I'm confused what oil should i use. im a long distance rider. i traveled a week 123kms. Castrol Power 1 is better for this kind of travel?

im currently using Shell Helix Blue 5w-40. my engines sounds like used motor at the farm "KOBOTA"

watchout for castrol activ 4t. it only has 800 ml on it. you'll end up buying another bottle if youre replacing your oil filter...

mobil 1 15w-50,i changed the oil at 2500km and it still feels new(the oil after pouring out),did an oil change at 5000km,and oil still feels the same....engine has done 40000km,still feels good,i will see the wear when i change to the 65mm head and block(engine has never been touched).synthetic oil are meant to last a long while so i don't understand why change so often,maybe because the engine feels rough but bear in mind that the fuel quality some times have this effect,this always happens to me so i try and avoid centain brand of petrol station.i think fully synthetic oil can easily last 10000km on our engine but that just my opinion....

motul factory line 300V double ester full synthetic 4t is the best. made in malaysia though.. cost 950 peso per 1000ml. maximum used for me is 5000km

dont use fully synthetic yet. use it after break in or at least go for 5000km. though im not a mechanic or an expert on oil but fully synthetic is not good on new engines. coz fully synthetic is very liquified that gears are fast to circulate inside. use only semi synthetic then go for fully synthetic.
