yes this is true.. 1st s "wangwang" next is HID!! buti nlng ang X1R ko dual may stock light & HID. sna mkapagmodify din soon pra s sniper ang dual bulb isang stock den isang HID if needed lng s night ride..

I guess not, baka may restriction lang sa Kelvin yan...yung mga SUV na bago ngayon and some high end cedan cars are using HID out from casa...

They should stop it first before us...Like the Mitsubishi EX, naka HID na yon so ibig sabihin ba non, pagka buy mo, papaplitan nila ng Halogen or the likes? it will void the Electrical warranty of the vehicle.

Marami pa silang pagdadaanang process before this will be implemented and it should be with all vehicles, no exception

All the car manufacturers will pull out their sold cars that has HID installed on it and have it replaced and give us the extra penny for the HID cost

LTO Chief Alberto Suansing is planning to implement stricter guidelines for 4 wheel vehicle owners/drivers as well as their passengers.

The amended guidelines are as follows:

1. Carrying of Restriction Code 2 (RC 2) on the drivers license.
2. Confiscate and fined HID headlights 4300k color and up
3. All passengers of private cars needs to have seatbelt, including the back passengers.


Additional proposed items from the LTO Guidelines:

*Drivers and All Passengers who fail to use seatbelt will be fined P1,500/passenger plus attending seminar for traffic and vehicle safety to be conducted by LTO.

* For carrying more passenger other than the normal seating capacity, a penalty of P1,000/per passenger.

* For defective accessories such as headlight, tail light, signal light, brake light, side mirror and horn a fine of P1,000 for the violators.

* For modifying any part of the original design of a private vehicle without approval of LTO and the DTI a fine of P2,000.

* Wearing of slippers fine of P500 for the first offense, P700 for the 2nd offense and P1,000 for the 3rd offense and revocation of driver’s license.

* Installation of HID headlight 4300K and up color temperature a fine of P5000.

* Installation Open free flow exhaust pipe other than the original exhaust pipe a fine of P3000.

Like what I've said on my post, there will be restriction with the Kelvin but not totally banned HID. Good thing I still have my HID bulb for car...ha ha ha

un nga hirap paps may restrictions. aabusuhin ngayn ng mga maninita yang guidelines n yan. mkita lng n maliwanag ang ilaw mo kahit below 4.3k ang HID mo huhulihin k parin kc ndi nman nila masusukat ung kelvin ng ilaw mo eh (not unless my HID meter sila dba hehehe). hay sna wag abusuhin ng mga otoridad tong bagong panukala n to. gudlak..

If the apprehended motorist knows the law and this AO they can tell the apprehending officer that he is using a 4k HID bulb. If they have right to apprehend motorist, we also have our DAMN F@@#$%$% right. Dont be fool by this officers. If you know you are right, fight for it

How to test HID, that is their %^&* problem, not ours

bring a calculator bro....then show it to the apprehending officer, just divide 800 by 2 and show it to him....ha ha ha....and it will give you only 4k kelvin...tell the officer that the 8K HID is for cars....so cars have 2 lights that's why it is 8K...ha ha ha...
