High Speed Wobble!!! wat happened?

Glowplug

Yes needed, because not all tires are balance from the factory. That's why when you buy new car tires you have to go balancing to remove wobble

i never had my tyres balanced..coz there arent any bike balancing workshop here..not untill early this year...seen once...
but i never had any wobble..
is it really gonna do us good..that much?

i've settled my problem, it was the tyre pressure, after ive changed the new set of tires, the workshop pump in 46psi for front and 56 for rear...

after i pump front 29psi and rear 33psi, the wobble gone...!

thanks...

p/s: always double check ur tire pressure..

how does tyre pressure affect the wobbling? i'm blur here.. hehe.. i had some slight wobble @ 120km/h too.. i tink the riding position plays a part too, n the clothes dat u wear.. too loose, affect the air flow.. ur clothes go flap flap.. ur bike go wobble wobble.. correct me if i'm wrong bout this..

im not too sure about that.. coz the thing is, when i used the original tyres, i can go up to 140 without any wobble.. den i changed front 80/90 and rear 100/80, then it started to wobble at 120km/h. and this is all me wearing the same sized tshirt and same riding position...

as i noe...others mopeds include scooters such as honda wave 125 n modenas elit sport...when my friends drove this 2 bikes and nearly achieved the top speed...the wobble comes...but they continues accelerate(wanna die faster)...at the end...they both decided to change front shocks...but when that elit sports sent to service centre...that mechanic told my friend his whole scooter's parts loosen and in CRITICAL LEVEL!!!

apparently, there are many factors that could lead to the high speed wobble...

wana hear what some people in brunei said about this problem? changing the front disc to a bigger one... which i think is totally wrong.. as i had no problem with my bigger disc when i was using my original tyres...

on mopeds modifying to bigger disk is capable of causing wobble..
because its very sensitive to road bumps and pot holes..
if you hit one of those road hazard hard..bigger disk is very easy to become out of shape than a smaller one..although its not direcly hit by the road hazards..but its because bigger disk had more flex than smaller disk (related to the bolt position)
this is because on mopeds such as t135 the bolt holes lies deep in the center of the disk..(it's designed to mount a NOT so big disk)
so theres a wider surface on the disk that dont have enough support..that is the reason why bigger disk is more likely to flex and can cause wobble..compare to a smaller disk
not like on sportbikes which already had big disk as stock..
just look at the position of the disk bolts..its positioned just right next to the braking surface area..not deep in the center area of the disk..
its just my 2 cents..but think again wheter im making sense or not:D:D:D

i believe its logic, rooster... why not you guys try this one by one;

1. inspect and tighten the front wheel nuts if needed
2. inspect and tighten the rear wheel nuts if needed
3. inspect and tighten the swing arm nuts if needed (need to take out the front sprocket cover)
4. check your tire pressure front and back (I'm using 29psi front ( 70/90 HF -918 Duro) and 33psi (80/90 HF -918 Duro)) Pls visit http://www.durotires.com for more info. <-- my wobble problem settled after I did this all 4 steps.
5. inspect and tighten your handle if needed.

Try to do this first, before you decide to lower your fork, change to bigger disk, and etc. (my 2 cents)

p/s: now my bike back to normal, high speed riding in highway 170kmh (Malaysia speedometer) without problem.
