My old tire was wearing on me and 3 nights ago I was speeding down the highway downhill and suddenly the bike started to jerk really hard!!!

Thank god no death...but I believe it was coz of the tire...so got it changed this morning to a 110/80! MUHUHHAHAA Big Muthabiker!

Some tyres have wobbling at high speed
especialy when the wheel is not balanced
or when tyre starts to swell.

i have gauged my t135 to a xrm honda and its 10kph off...im doing 80kph but the xrm is doing 90kph and also when im running 90kph the xrm is 100kph...i think speedometer of t135 in the philippines is reading the same with the cars...

i know..dats why dun say it again..:D..hey after doin some comparo with riding diff mopeds...i dun tink dat our speedo had dat much of an error...
or is it dat all da mopeds ive tried had da same errors?? :D:D:D

car and motocycle are totaly differents. modify to electonic speedo as infrared sensor which is same might be more accurate as gps. lower price than traxxas's digital veypor. then you will know it.

bros...from wat ive experienced..ive went up 140km/h on speedo but no wobble..pple ard me have suggested to put on fork brace...that might stable ur front side..my fren whos experiencing the same prob also wans to attach a fork brace.maybe that might solve the prob..

Dis afternoon, as i was on my way back with my fren, along a highway, i tried to test out how fast my bike can really go.. my fren was riding a gilera runner vxr..so he was behind me when i sped.. when my speedo reached 150, my handlebars started to have life of its own.. the wobble was subtle @ first, then it gets really violent.. my friend saw me n he was preparing for the worst.. i tapped my rear brake to slow down.. the wobbling stopped after 110...

wat i wana know is wat happened? i'm using bridgstone battlax tyres 80/90front 90/80 rear, recntly downed my fork, got large front discbrakes.. the road surface was dry n even.. could it be my fork length is not equal? could it be wind factor? i got a box on my bike..

n also, y izzit when i rev hard from a stop, my bike only goes up to 120km/h full throttle.. but when i rev slowly, i can go up to 150+, as wat happened to me earlier.. does dis have anyting to do with the cdi? does this happen to other t135 as well?
Let's analyze your problem 1x1:

Wobble?
1. due to stiffer shocks
2. unbalanced oil fills (if oil changed already from factory settings)
3. tire production defects (cannot be seen by eyes but can feel w/ touch)

Disk brakes?
1. Brake pads lightly leans on the rotor disk (thats normal)
2. Misaligned caliper (very minimal effect to wobble)

Erratic revs?
1. 120km/hr if using stock cdi (bec of the stock cdi limiter)
2. 150km/hr if using programmable racing cdi.
3. T135 as i experienced needs a continous acceleration to attain its top speed of 150km/hr or more. Try to close shift from 1st to 4th so the RPM will not decent. 8)

As what I have read on the angle positions of front forks and its stability, the more tilted the front forks the more stable it is on high speeds BUT the harder it is for cornering. the more it is vertically aligned, the easier it is for cornering BUT not very stable on high speeds. Just look on the harley bike, its forks are tilted for about 45 degrees so its very stable on high speeds but it hard to turn on cornering. Another thing is maybe the T post are not tight enough, try to put it on center stand then have someone to sit at the back so the front tire will be elevated the try to pull the tire towards you and feel if it is loose.
