I read somewhere that... "Camshaft with higher lift and longer duration and overlap tends to decrease your compression, hence, losing power at low to mid rpm, but provides supreme power at mid-hight rpm...

now if you'll be able to have a good powerband at all (low to high rpm) daig mo pa ang naka V-tec niyan... :D

high comp lng katapat nyan sir if mag compromisse ka sa dahil sa duration ng cam mo.

meaning if I am to use this camshaft, I need to increase my compression?

to conclude, the power band of this camshaft is superior at mid-top rpm? because if you will not increase your compression by using high compression piston (aka dome piston), increasing you stroke and increasing in bore size, instead of gaining, you will be losing power, especially on your low to mid rpm...

hindi naman po sa madaming alam, just trying to have a healthy discussion regarding the subject at hand...

mamaya kasi, may newbie (gaya ko) na makabasa at isipin tatakbo din ang motor ko gaya ng mga motor niyo diyan sa gensan pag nag kabit ng ganito...

buti at na mention ni sir rem ang tungkol sa high com if mag compromise dahil sa duration ng cams... which a good point for newbies like me, at nalaman ko ng marami pala akong dapat iconsider...

sana marami pa mag share ng technical knowledge nila regarding sa topic...

so far sa observation ko bro. ok nmn low to mid rpm ng cam natoh. minsan na ring na sabay sa biritan with friends using different rcams. on compression nmn what we did was we shaved the block and head pra sagad sa top. kaya nasabi kong high comp. tsaka if ur worried na tumukod valves pra nmn jan valve pockets ang ginawa nmin. check my older post yung may pic. tingnan mo clearance ng piston sa top. tsaka maraming lng tlaga ako ipapasalamat sa mech ko. kac arangakada to top. so far d pa nmn ako napapahiya ng set up.

tsaka na isip ko lng pafs. prang ako lng atah ang pinoy na gumagamit netoh kac dati pa prang wlang pumapansin sa cam natoh. exclussive for malaysia nga cguro tlaga

hindi naman siguro exclusive... marahil siguro, kaya bihira lang ang gumagamit ng cams na yan ay hindi siya plug and play...

kailangan mo pa baguhin ang timing ng magneto...

karamaihan sa atin, ang gusto ay yung plug and play para less ang risk ng error...

para sa akin, hindi biro biro ang pag kabit ng cams na ito, kailangan ang mag kakabit nito ay may sapat na experience at kaalamang teknikal ukol dito...

Faito S4 EVO? is this plug and play??? and can anybody tell the proper valve clearance for this cam? pls reply thanks
