Magnum ignition coil

Glowplug, why do u choose to use an old fashion coil operated cdi anyway ?

The thais and indo make very good aftermarket cdi which does not require any modifications.

I was surprised to know tat the T135 uses a stator instead of the old fashion coils at first. Before i tot it was just like most other cubs, then one day i saw a stator in the manual

Somebody mentioned what is a magento? It's your auto charger with acts like a battery recharger when you switch off the bike.

This magnum ignition thing sounds good but maybe better off sticking to the stock for now.

try it out guys
the T135 desperately needs a much better throttle response
its a good investment to upgrade the ignition system on our T135
the stock bike is just so sluggish, i m real dissapointed

if i cud get the magnum at my place i sure get it
but its not available here and i oledi used another coil from a 2 stroker

Hi CarroTT, its old fashion alright, but using the modified stator I can rev the engine to full power without any bogs on the engine, unlike before even with KITTI there's a limit in the top end. Now i can rev up to kingdom come, so the only problem is not blowing the engine up.

One limit is coming from the CDI but what we experience is even with KITTI we cacnnot go on high rev while tuning the carb. I remember my FZR 400 before at top end there is a limit but I change the battery the limit is went up to the standard.

The guy who work on th stator said, one problem at high rev is that the battery cannot give enough power to CDI of T135. But now with the new stator using the same CDI we can rev up to max without limit.

Oohhhh, i think this is ur situation

u bike is heavily modded
it can revs so bloody high tat is even higher than the rpm limit in Kitti
So i assume u r using other types of cdi tat has a very high cdi

or

the battery simple do not supply enough current to charge up the capacitor in the cdi.
So u boost up the power by using direct power from coil

m i getting close ?

A normal bike simply kenot rev tat high

I got a magnum 7amp battery in my bike already, to go along with it now is the ignition cord which I saw sitting at some shop in town a week back :D Don't know whether it's for the SPark 135 or the Spark X.

Hey Tony I hope you dont mind can you please scout around for valve springs not the stock one, I need one that is stronger.

The stock springs cannot cope up with the high rev. TIA

Guys Lc magneto coil have speedgear..If you want more performal, so take-out those speedgear then you would not have cut-off when you speed at topspeed.

Try change to RXZ-Bosch Coil that have no speedgear...You later will feel smooth while reach topspeed then no need to afraid lost topspeed coz no cut-off anymore...Hehehe

By Change it you also could get more acceleration and pickup for 1k ride.
Enjoy your self..

clicked, I don't know about the performance, it's just a battery! It does give stronger light power for sure though.

Hey Glow, I can do that sure, but do you know the length of the stock springs? I am going parts hunting again this coming Saturday so I can put that on my to do list.

The free length is 47.33mm. Thanks Bro!

How much is the coil? how the fuel consumption?

Mio, That's the ideal length longer than that would prevent the valve from closing properly and lesser would require spacer. So basically, thats the length I need but the springs must be stronger meaning it would be harder to compress. I think Kitti or LHK has that, I sent a PM to stroker but has not answered yet.

The stock valve is too soft, so at high rev the rocker arm is some what floating and the valve is not properly closing, as observed the carb is belching gas at near top end.

glow youre not using stock valves are you?...
coz ive read that if we use stock valve with stronger spings it might break the valve..?

this is the spings most people down here use...WRD made in thai
cost about 20 US$ or less...

when installing these notice the red painted end, this is for upside
measure the valve gap using a feeler gauge,
the inlet valve gap is 0.10 - 0.14mm,
the outlet valve gap is 0.16 - 0.20mm,
do this when the engine is cold.

How nice of you rooster, is that a stock valve spring of much stronger? You use for modified engine or on stock engine?

I never heard of valve break using stronger springs but thanks for the info, that's worth considering.

Mio can you include the above spring on your canvass list plus if it's stronger that stock.

Thanks guys cheers
