Bore Pitsbike 62mm Upgrade

I just like to share my recent upgrade and probably the best upgrade that i have ever done. A few weeks ago i purchased from emcid a 62mm pitsbike bore up kit...all i can say is WOW!!! Im now at 800km of break-in and starting to test its full power. It has a very noticeable increase in power....the accelaration is great...as of now the fastest i have done is 140kph(100kg plus rider) but dont have to guts to go further even though the engine still have more. im still at stock carb and planning to go for 28 or 30mm size as per @emcid. To those people who like speeds this is for you...this upgrade is not for the faint of heart he he...pitsbike heat dissipation is also good just like the stock bore maybe because its nikasil. Im running with brt dual band, faito racing cam, vixion valve springs, protec ignition coil, yypang shorty plus the stock head is port and polished. One more thing that i have noticed is the sound of my pipe improve now its more macho sound he he (parang laging galit). I have a question to all masters here...why is that when i released the throttle from accelerating i noticed a backfire (only one backfire), what is the cause of this backfire?? My stock carb?? Also i noticed an increased in vibration but slowly decreases as my break-in goes on is this normal??? TIA

Having a 62mm bore will increase the vibration od our bike.bro... i suggest for u to change to racing carb... im sure ull.be more satisfied.. may i ask.. is d piston forged?..

What do you mean bro wid hi torque and hi speed? Borekits effect is to gve more torque nd faster reach of topspeed... and dats makes it hispeed. Just make sure u have rcdi installed because its useless if it has limiter.. dont forget the stiffer valve spring (for over revers) hahaha!

Bro u really shud change your carb.. it may cause damage to your piston... its too small for 62mm.. maybe thas d reason der is backfire...

maybe the A/f mixture was Lean..did you done a Sparkplug reading sir?..it must be rusty brown or closer to the rust color..

Sudden lean on a/f mixture when you release your throttle will cause backfire .Rejet your carb & do plug reading.

what i mean is that... if we have a high torque it means it less speed (means faster acceleration and reaching the top speed but the top speed is lowered is this right sir??)
..and if its high speed its less torque (but with higher top speed am i ryt?)... so which do you prefer sir??heheheh

your talking about sprocket effect bro... borekit increases both torque and top speed compared to stock bore. add rcing cams if you want higher topspeed.. just do a proper tuning..

Try to close the air 1/4 turn and adjust the fuel accordingly. you should eliminate backfire by then.

backfire can sometimes cause by too much air mixture. try going more richer setting

wew..with ur mods u can overtake the new cbr150 so easily..from 80 to 140 it takes just few times to get..i did without down shifting to 4th gear just the throttle..ride safe brobtw same its emcid 62
