sir, may i ask where's the exact location of jetron racing shop? im from pasig also, i would like to add some upgrades on my mc. planning to add rcdi, rcams, and rvalves springs only, do they have those parts sir? planning to buy and install it to them, may i know also if u have an idea how much it will cost the parts and the installation? tia,
For cost of materials and installation, I don't have an idea.. JETRON racing shop is located along Eusebio Ave.. They are near Christine Royale Subdivision and Villa Eusebio.. I think their place is Maxville.. They are on left side of the road if you are going to PCGH and if you're from PCGH, they are in right side.. you can see a signage of JETRON..

It depends on the racing cam that you will install.. Kawahara K1 and Vixion Cam are plug and play and no need to do piston deck pocketing,, I don't know if there are other cams that are plug and play beside them..If you want K1 cam, I have here..:D heheheh High lift cams requires piston deck pocketing, to avoid collision of your in/ex valve and piston deck.. If you will not do this,, kaboom..:D

I'm also from pasig.. and I'm very near to JETRON..:D

hmmmm... i dont think so. when i tried to install k1 black cam, it requires new jettings on stock carb and even in mikuni vm26, so i dont think that this cam is plug and play, for me specific definition of plug and play is as easy as installing BRT CDI in our mc, a true example of this phrase "plug and play"...

I'm referring to the first version of kawahara K1 cam (not the black with decomp pin).. It is plug and play.. ask sir @traxxas-modifier about the first version of K1 cam, it is same with vixion cam which is also plug and play.. plug and play for me is that there would no other modifications to be done in your engine like piston deck pocketing,, all of cams requires A/F adjustment or even jetting adjustment..

guys, enlighten me please!

i have stock sniper 2009, stock pipe, engine, cdi and carb
will changing cams alone improve my sniper's acceleration or top speed?
what cams should i install for stock pipe, carb and stock bore?

p.s.- my budget is only 6000php (~142U$D), how can i improve performance just a lil bit w/o noise, fuel efficient and reliable for long ride?
Thanks masters!

what is a good cams to use for daily use and banking2 and long and short rides.
im currently using 57 vixion kit block. the rest of the components are stock
is UMA a good cams cuz thats what i had in mind.

comparing UMA high cams and CMS, which has the best performance gain? im after is power in and out of corners

They have the same lift and duration. They say CMS is better in terms of performance. BUT take note, this is the old CMS cam and it does not have DECOMPRESSION PIN SLOT. UMA has decompression pin slot.

Here is a tip:

Others remove their decompression pin for better performance. IMAGINE IF YOU WILL REMOVE THE DECOMPRESSION PIN IN YOUR UMA HIGH CAM..........;)

CMS (no decompression pin) compared to UMA HIGH CAM (with decompression pin) = CMS IS BETTER

CMS (no decompression pin) compared to UMA HIGH CAM (REMOVED DECOMPRESSION PIN) = :D:rolleyes:
