Sniper Mx Modifications

Nice mods bro! where did you buy your belly pan we have same SMX bike mine is also color gold, stock settings with 14/40 sprocket combi. I also tried 14/42 before but it seems to me, engine is always reeving to much. This 14/42 combi is good only for attaining top speed, but when you are just for touring day by day, base on my experience, 14/40 combi is just right. Gives you a little bit better acceleration response with moderate throttle. 14/38combi-when you are weighing 80kg up plus you are having backride, your 5th gear suffers.
front sprocket of honda tmx155 is compatible with our sniper and Yamaha RS100 rear sprocket is also compatible with our rear sprocket
Yes.. I agree on the 14/42 combination, you will have a high RPM at shortest period of time.. more on rev.. I'm planning to change my engine sprocket to 15 and check the outcome.. 14/42 ratio is 3, 15/42 is 2.8, 14/40 is 2.85.. well I'll try them.. For engine sprocket, a fellow sniper user told me that honda XRM125 also fits us, it just so happen that it has 2 holes for bolt connection.. for rear sprocket, I'm using one that fits RS100/X1/ Crypton..

i've tested it only on our town in batangas usually when i go to the market to buy ulam hehehe, so far 115kmp, but i think it can reach to 120 or more if theres still long stretch road. my odometer is only 4k+ so medyo maganit pa ng konti yung engine. its only stock settings so we can't expect it to run more than 125kmh.If you are not into drag racing, or speeding all the time, for me, this is the best combi kasarapan lang tol. But if you really want more speed ask your pocket first, its up to you because modification will really cost you and your engine will have a shorter life span..
ok i see thanks paps..because i used HGM for my pipe and i adjusted its airflow and adjusted a little bit of its diaphragm,i just used it when i came home after 8mos.onboard.i think my SNIPER MX,can reach till 130kph when open pipe and all stock

If you will still use your stock carb, you have to increase your main jet size.. IMHO.. Also try to change your clutch springs.. But for you to obtain the max power of your set up mentioned above, try to use Big carb and feel the difference..:D Just my two cents..;)

hu hu hu.. just done the testing for 14/38 combi with racing CDI its poor in acceleration.. and too hard to reach 120kph and the winner is 14/42 good acceleration and easy to reach the top.

This is my current sprocket combination..:D Don't you wanna try 14/41 or 15/42?
Since you are already using RCDI, I think you should change your valve spring to stiffer one.. Changing clutch spring is not enough.. You also have to re-jet your carb or replace it with a bigger one and change your camshaft.. then test the result..
