FTD,my sproc now is 16/41,n im losing my top,then how do u think dat 16/42 can give u top at 4th gear..it juz for a fast acceleration..n u can simply do the wheelie..for me..if u looking for top speed..i suggest u 14/36..
damn much speeding it'll give u..im using it before change it to 16/41..so fast man..top with more add acceleration..170..trust me..with stock engine..n my weight is juz aroung 50-60 Kilo G..[/quote]

bro i know why you are losing top, because your 16/41T combi is too "tall" you don't have power on 4th with that combi so you have to make the rear sprocket a bit bigger to have more rpm on 4th...

FTD, I'm 86 kilograms light. I use 15/42, good acceleration and I dunno whats top speed to y'all, but how do you fit 16 in the front? Plus your chains gotta be very durable too. How'd you get the 16 in? And what chain you using? Chains gotta be compatible with sprocket teething length too.

i guess he use the 'thin sprocket' and samller number of chains, standard chains are 428,maybe he uses the 415 or less than that

im changing the sprocket from 14/41,15/41,16/41 n im using now is 16/36 n the top speed is lost..wat u guys think? izit my sprocket set problem or wat?

arechin either your carb is still dirty or its something else. So far you said your current setup is perfect for top speed, but now its lost. Hey bro u dont mind postin a pic of your front sprocket and chain up close? Thanks.

yeah...your sprocket ratio is too low for the engine, the torque is not enough with a 16/36 set up...try going back to 15/40 or 14/38....those two i think are good combination...coz they dont go too far from the stock ratio of

2.600 (15/39) - stock
2.714 (14/38 ) - closer for more acceleration
2.667 (15/40) - just a little closer than stock...
2.625 (16/42) - dunno but higher topspeed than 15/40

but the efi doesnt allow us to change the main jet to larger size, its for those who love to race, efi will definitely cost a lot to modified
