here's what happened to my snipee

first, the screw that tightens the cams is loose, check the picture...there's a scratch on the side of the screw..

here's the culprit...

the thing with the balancer is located here, you will see the cams as well

asked the mechanic to check the valve spring and the rocker arm as well and this is what we discovered

you can see at the lower left exhaust valve, the spring is not oriented properly.


after removing the valve spring...OMG...

broken valve spring...tsk tsk tsk...

it's a good thing that the bolt is still intact...

good thing is i didnt use the bike with our ride cause i have the feeling that there something serious going on inside my engine...

i am still thankful nothing bad happened to my engine...

there's a noise besides my YY cams...a tik sounds...at first, I thought it's the timing chain but upon checking, there's no problem with it...

anyways, that is the new YY pang valve spring,a little shorter than the first they release for sniper but a little stiffer.

it really depends on you sir on how fast you really want your bike to go...but IMO...you gotta ask your self if you really need the modifications that sir marcus and some of the mamaws here has.

city driving...rextor cdi, iridium spark plug, very good oil plus regular tune up i think will do.

but if really wanna keep up with sir marcus and chris during rides...you definitely goona need it...hahaha

try TK valve spring. its available along bocaue. just scout for them. I don't know the price. sorry

a friend of mine told me changing valve spring is needed especially when changing over sized pistons coz the compression will be greater than stock and you need to change it to stand the pressure. it will also reduce the possibility of valve float. hope this info will help you guys.

i used tk racing valve spring ...the metal is good sez my mechanic but anyway... its still the driving style and how you push your bike to the limit he he he he
