good afternoon forumers.. i have a rear disk conversion installed on my rear break.. a have a couple of question to ask..

Q#1: I would like to replace the parts attached to the rear break system like caliper and master with R150's nissin caliper and master.. are this parts plug n 'play in my converted disk break ready mag wheels? .. or i need to revised the converted mags to fit the said master and caliper

Q#2: thus aftermarket parts like Brembo caliper and master(china made) are also plug n' play in my current converted stock mags well if i need some bracket can you help me guys finding one somewhere in bulacan or uploading a pic will be much appreciated BTW my mags is equipped with HDIII hub

TIA.. sorry for my bad english :D

sir traxx im glad your here.. BTW changing the bracket is already in my list.. the only question in my mind is what bracket do i need that will fit on brembo-brembohan caliper or r150's nissin caliper.. or do i need to change my swing arm for the revision of my rear disk break?..

if you used the brembo caliper, you have to fabricate a bracket, if the nissin from r150, it is advisable to find the stock bracket of it and then fabricate the bracket for the alignment...no need to change the swing arm bro..

tnx sir rhoitol.. btw sir someone told me that i need to revised my converted mags to fit the said caliper of r150 or brembobrembohan.. because he said that my mags is only compatible for my caliper.. btw my caliper is just like sir levibungabong's caliper.. the one with no brand.. i think it came from honda xrm..

the bracket will only be revised bro...the honda xrm caliper is also nissin, but it was double piston..

sir traxxas,
just today,i had my lc135 (racing boy 8 spokes)converted to rear discbrake..but i had a little problem, the caliper would move right and left(wiggle) when the wheel is turning. i assume this is because the disc hub/xrm sprocket hub doesn't rotate perpendicularly on the wheel axis. based on the convertion, the bolts for the mags and the disc shares a common hole on the hub, so the remedy is to equally tighten all four bolts on the mags to balance the disc..that's hard to do. i'm thinking of making use of four spacers between the mags and the hub so i just nid to tighten the bolts as much as i could not worrying about upsetting the balance bet all bolts. knowing the right height of the spacers would be a trial and error demanding time and patience. now..i need your advice.. would it be best to use the hd3 hub instead of the xrm..and redo the process of drilling new holes on my mags? or do you have an idea to resolve the problem. sorry to bother you this much, i just thought you're the best person here to ask.(based on your experince ofcourse) by the way.. the only contact between the mags and the hub is the center part..so it's like all the quadrants with a hole each is floating in spaces..i don't remember there was a bearing in the disc hub.

Do yamaha shops offer converting service? I'm interested but I'd like to know how much does it costs?
