Eh guyz,i have some doubts about our mc bcoz it say's 135.but on our stock mc the top speed is only 120.but the Honda wave 125 the top speed is 120 all stock.na subukan ko na yan..

But when we go for a road trip together with my frnds going to pagadian city for about 4 hrs drive.on a long strech i reach my TS 120 kp/h and the wave 125 reach the TS 120 kp/h but his behind for about 100 meters when i ask him about his TS..anybody can explain about this?masters out there...?sabay nmn Kami sa arangkada nauna pa nga xa sa akin nkahabol nlang ako nung nka 3rd -4th gear na ako..tapos sa 5th un na malayo na ako..my mx got 14/39 sprocket combination.Pero kaka iba ung andar nya kompara ko sa ibang mx sa mga kasama ko..
hmmm... maybe the 120kph its not same reading on each speedometer sa MX and honda 125 ... in other words no ISO hehe

Really?gud for you..What is ur MOD bro?f u dnt mind...
That speed was just stock bore and stroke sir,
* stiff valve springs
* racing CDI.
* retard valve clearance
* very small tires,
* of course open pipe, namban for raider 150 fitted
* stock carb with a little bit of over jet(i dont know the jettings hehe)
* 15/42 sprocket
* racing cam
if you wan't to extend your TS you must change to big bore.
hope will help fellow snipees... ridesafe-- always wear helmet

Got the same experience bro... iv'e had the chance to ride alongside with another brand of bike one day. his was 150 cc. but my sniper got ahead for some stretch and was able to maintain the distance... the thing is, they say that the supposed bike (the 150 cc bike) can reach 140 kph all-stock, but my speedometer is only at 120 kph... can somebody explain please... is it because that his speedometer was exagerated and mine is defective?

Maybe sir, changing of tires may cause the speedo to have discrepancy in reading. IMO...As of my experience just as I ride my friend's r150, it took very easy to reach 150kph but when we are gauging he can't hardly keep up on me but my speedo reading is at 140kph only. ridesafe fellow snipees---

Change valve springs first sir preferable stiffer once before you change your cam because it will damage your stock valve and have a heck of problem later, after changing your valve spring ask our experts here what cam is fitted for you to use or what do you want to do, drag racing, touring or circuit racing. ridesafe-- use helmet always.

If u change ur valve spring u better change narin ng racing cam para isahang bukas na...and to see wat ur looking for max speed change also ur cdi to rcdi..thats the first 3 things u are going to change if ur luking for speed and of coure ur open pipe already..bcoz if ur still using ur stock pipe its useless..u better stick to sprocket combination to gain a lil bit speed..

Mine b4 iv got 14/38 all stock i can reach 125 kph in a quarter mile..i dnt know y?but ill try it so many times already..my frnds snipee cant do that we are all the same all stock..or maybe Ders something wrong with his mc or my mc speedoo...hehe...

newbie here, peeps, guys, Just wana ask few question bout a good combi of sprocket, i have read all ur comments and suggestions but then i still can't decide. mine is a 5 day old smx doing hard break-in.. im planning to change my sprocket.. i am 55-60kg rider, wat sprocket can i put in it to improve acceleration but not to compromise the top speed..

You can try 14x42 combination bro, as per experience, my mc have better rpm at top ends. Hope this will help.

i just replaced my sprocket combination this morning from 14/38 (stock) to 14/42 and im 70kgs... result was a good acceleration.... but theres a little bit more power on my throttle that the 42 sprocket limit it... maybe 42 is bigger for my kilogram :( .... i suggest 15/42 or 14/41 combination ;)
