preferably what size of valve springs sir???touring will b nice...thank you sir
I don't know the sizes of the valve springs available sir. Just try CMS or vixion valvesprings for starters. If you have extended budget just follow the advice of sir januar to save the cost of labor in opening your engine. ridesafe--

newbie here, peeps, guys, Just wana ask few question bout a good combi of sprocket, i have read all ur comments and suggestions but then i still can't decide. mine is a 5 day old smx doing hard break-in.. im planning to change my sprocket.. i am 55-60kg rider, wat sprocket can i put in it to improve acceleration but not to compromise the top speed..
14-42 sir. or try lower ratios for a start, it will help you reach ts of your stock SMX easily. ridesafe snipers way--

i just replaced my sprocket combination this morning from 14/38 (stock) to 14/42 and im 70kgs... result was a good acceleration.... but theres a little bit more power on my throttle that the 42 sprocket limit it... maybe 42 is bigger for my kilogram :( .... i suggest 15/42 or 14/41 combination ;)
for stock SMX 14-42 is the best combi yet. IMO ridesafe--

bro, wat about vixion valve spring how much, and brt rcdi?
Here in bacolod BRT dualband cost 3500 up. Vixion Vspring cost 1700 in gen san as I ask sir job last time. But im ussing CMS Vspring now so far so gud. Dualband also kicks hard at TS no limit but watchout for imitation. Ridesafe brothers--

if i change, cams, valve spring, will it be the same with the stock in terms of vibration and even the engine sound, i mean is it still smooth, no vibration and clinging(Takatak") sound of the engine?

About installing racing cams-Tiktik/takrak sounds is not normal in our lc135 sir. aFAIK. It will damage the valve if that sound is getting noisy, you should get to your mechanic to set your valve clearnce if that sounds start to build up. Vibration is much more entence when you change to stiff vsprings bcoz it'll take you to higher rpm compared to stock vsprings that has a limit. Hope it will help. Share to others and ride safe always. :coffee:

IMO, 14 42 is good for 3rd 4th and 5th gear... ramdam mo ang hatak... pg dating sa 1st and 2nd gear, maganda din naman kayalang ang bilis mng mg shift... i am currently using 15 42... so far so good, pero i will try 14 40 para ma maximize ko pa ang 5th gear... kasi lagi akong my angkas...

sir, wat about using the 15, 42 isn't it a lil bit faster than the 14,42 in stock engine and tires?
paps mas mabilis mng makuha top speed mo sa 14-42... pero if you want miracle top speed mg 15-42 ka... bakit miracle? kasi minsan mas mataas pa ang top speed mo sa inyong inaakala... hehe... especially same direction ka sa hangin... IMO
