High Charge Electricity

can u pls show the diagram of the stator core and how it was assembled and the diagram of the rectifier/regulator so that we could understand how it became fast charging when we cut red/yellow wire.
In my own understanding bro, our voltage regulator regulate voltage by shunting(shorting) its coils(yellow and white) with the use of SCR when set voltage on regulator exeed. When yellow wire is cut the shorting on SCR pins will no longer regulate charging voltage. Maybe i'm wrong but thats my understanding. Try cutting the yellow wire and all you stator driven bulbs will be busted.:D:D

I dont know what T7.3.1 stands for, but below is the specification of your mentioned rectifier just for comparissons.:)

Product Description

Regulator Rectifier Assy.
12 Volt, Shunt-Type, 14.4 V setpoint
Used On: Yamaha TDM850, TDR125, TT600, TW125, XJ600, XG250 Motorcycles
Replaces: Shindengen SH629A-12
Notes: For 3-phase excited field systems.
Terminal Identification: S1, S2, S3, B+, Grounded Base

You can use this type of rectifier if your MC is already battery operated but you have to check the connector/terminal configuration of this regulator. Just left 2 connectors unconnected since our MC is only single phase. Regulator body connected to ground.

means a little bit complicated?,,

You will have to identify the pin for B+ and charging coil connection of SH629A-12,rectifier body connected to ground.
Just check service manual of motorcycles using this type of rectifier to identify the pins connected to AC1,AC2,AC3 and B+. ;)
